(Milwaukee, Wis.) – Today, Judge Bill Brash’s campaign announced over 70 endorsements from Milwaukee attorneys supporting his bid for re-election to District 1 of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.
“I’m glad to endorse Chief Judge Bill Brash for re-election to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.,” said Milwaukee litigation attorney Tom Shriner. “Throughout his 30+ years of judicial service to the people of Milwaukee County in the circuit court and the court of appeals, Judge Brash has demonstrated his dedication to achieving fair-minded and even-handed justice for all who appear before him. We can’t ask for more from a judge and shouldn’t settle for less.”

Also endorsing Judge Brash is former President of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association, Frank Gimbel. “Judge Brash is the ideal candidate for the job and I am proud to endorse him for re-election to the Court of Appeals,” said Frank Gimbel. “He is fair-minded and approaches his work with intellectual curiosity. We must keep Judge Brash on the Court of Appeals.”

Judge Bill Brash first served on the bench in 1985, as a Municipal Judge in Fox Point. Later, moving up to the Circuit Court in Milwaukee, and serving on the bench there for 14 years. Currently, Judge Brash sits on the Court of Appeals and has been since 2015. He was named the Presiding Judge for District 1 in 2019, and has been the Chief Judge for the Court of Appeals since 2021.
